The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council created a raffle in order to incentivize community participation in the Census 2020.

We believe that the importance of filling out the Census goes beyond any personal advantage. Its about helping each-other and doing our own small part, in order to get counted in the Census and receive the benefits our community deserves. And since we are all working here as community towards a common goal, helping create more awareness and political presence for our community, we decided to create a community raffle which will work in the exact same way, by working as a team together.

The raffle will work by blocks, including each block that is part of the main Crown Heights Jewish neighborhood. We will compare the percentage that we confirm have filled out the Census by entering our raffle to the total number of households on that block.

The block with the highest percentage of participation will win!

The winning block will receive a security camera system setup for the whole block! We will also raffle off individual prizes. Entries will be made for everyone who fills out the form into raffles for * three iPads, * an electric scooter, * a $60 Mozzarella gift card, and *a $50 Judaica world gift card. So, whether you live near to or out of the center, you can still sign up and win one of our individual prizes!
